What We're Doing

During the week of September 20 - 27, 2014, we're calling on our church and neighboring community to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our city through a variety of service projects in four sectors: school partnerships, hunger, homelessness, and acts of love. We believe that the church is not only found in a building and that we are called to serve the needs of our community while showing the love of Christ.

This week is designed to make it easy for you to get plugged into existing ministries around our city. We encourage you to browse our service opportunities in each sector. It is our hope that through this week you can find an area of our city where you can begin to build relationships with people and serve them on a consistent basis.

We want to connect people and resources for a greater Kingdom impact. We are praying that God will align hearts with ministries and awaken our city through the love of Christ shown. We know that God loves our city and wants His presence and love to be released here, and we desire to be part of that!

We will encourage, equip, and engage people in the service of Christ. We want to see God’s people renewed, the Church positioned to run with God, the reputation of Christ restored in our communities, and all people to encounter the transformative love of Christ.
